Vines: Friulano ( former tocai ) 100%
Harvesting: “Tocai” is the most widespread variety of white grapes in Friuli. Vines are cultivated in hilly landscapes, such as the Eastern Hills, which feature excellent geological patterns and climate conditions. Hand harvesting: early September and after 10 days.
Vinification: soft pressing. Partial maceration for some hours. Cold stabilization at a constant temperature. Yeast check in late March. Bottling: following spring
Organoleptic characteristics: straw yellow dry white wine. Notes of bitter almond, sage, elder flowers and hay. Full-bodied, round texture, bright aromas.
Serving temperature:10-12°C; long-stemmed glasses
Matching: it goes well with starters, fish specialities, snails and white meat. Best served as an appetizer together with raw ham. The ideal wine to be sipped together with your friends.
