DESCRIPTION
Name: CABERNET DOC PIAVE (red wine) 2007
Alcoholic content: 12,50%.
Vines: 70% Cabernet Franc and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vinification: classic maceration for 8 days with frequent pumping of must over grape dregs; temperature: 23-25°C.
Ageing and fining: ageing in steel tanks for 6 months; Malolactic fermentation; bottling.
Organoleptic characteristics and matching: the two vines merge in pleasant harmony. Ruby-red with purple shades, it has intense currant and blackberry notes and the classical herbal flavours of Cabernet wines.
Matching: best served with salami, grilled meat and cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16° C; red wine glasses.
