DESCRIPTION

It is cultivated and irrigated with the crystal-clear waters which cross the fertile soils of Isola della Scala, a flourishing area situated south of Verona which is famous all over the world for rice growing. This rice is processed according to ancient artisan techniques and is packaged without the employment of preservatives. It retains its specific properties if stored in cool, dry and airy places featuring temperatures which range from 4° to 17°C. It keeps its shape better than other forms of rice during slow cooking and is therefore regarded to be one of the best rice varieties in the world.
